Day 1 – Yangon

Arrival at Yangon Airport with a morning flight. Welcome by our tour guide and transfer to Hotel.

Check-In time 14:00. Early check-in available with supplement TBA.

Sightseeing to Kabaaye Pagoda ( World Peace Pagoda): Mahapasana Guha Cave, where Sixth Buddhist Synod took place and Chaukhtatkyi, Reclining Buddha Image, after that visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonders of the world for its religious significance and Myanmar lavishness, artistic beauty and its association with Myanmar culture.

Dinner not included. Overnight at Yangon.

 

Day 2 – Yangon – Bagan by Flight

Breakfast in hotel, check out and transfer to Yangon Airport.

Morning flight to Bagan.

Arrival at Bagan Airport transfer to downtown and sightseeing to Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas; Kyansittha Umin, a tunnel with an exciting feature of paintings; Wetkyi-Inn Gubyaukkyi Temple, with beautiful mural paintings of Jataka scenes; Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings and Tharabar Gate, the only remaining gate of 9th Century A.D.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon sightseeing includes Archaeological Museum; Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross; Ananda Okkyaung, a brick monastery with 18th Century mural paintings; Thatbyinnyu Temple, the highest of Bagan temples; Dhammayangyi, a massive temple with the most beautiful brickworks; lacquerware industry; Mingalazedi, the last Pagoda in Bagan dynasty and Shwesandaw Pagoda. End of visit and transfer and accommodation to a hotel

Day 3 – Bagan – Yangon by Flight

Breakfast in hotel and check out.

Meet the tour guide at Hotel lobby and visit Nyaung Oo Market and Minnanthu village area.

Lunch at a local restaurant. After Lunch transfer to Airport for the flight back to Yangon.

Arrival at Yangon and transfer and accommodation to the hotel.

Day 4 – Scott Market - Yangon Out

Breakfast in Hotel and check-out within 12:00 AM.

Morning sightseeing to visit Scott Market (Bogyoke Aung San Market).

Day 3 – Bagan – Mandalay – Amarapura – Sagaing (by Flight)

Breakfast and Hotel check-out.

Transfer to Airport to catch a flight a morning flight to Mandalay.

Morning excursion to ancient capital Amarapura, 11 km south of Mandalay. Tour Highlights include: Maha-gandayon Monastery (Buddhist University); 1.2 km long U Bein Wooden Bridge and silk weaving industry. Then proceed to Sagaing, 21 km southwest of Mandalay driving over Inwa (Ava) Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Tour highlights include: Ywataung Village, well known for its silver craftmen; Kaunghmudaw, an enormous solid dome-shaped Pagoda and picturesque Sagaing Hills, a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous Pagodas and monasteries. Then drive back to Mandalay.

Afternoon sightseeing in Mandalay to visit Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carving; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s biggest book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures and Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for panoramic view of the city. End of visit, transfer and accommodation at hotel .

Day 4 – Mandalay – Heho – Inle (by Flight)

Breakfast at Hotel and check-out.

Morning transfer to Airport for flight to Heho and then transfer to Inle Lake.

Morning excursion to Indein village of ancient Pagodas similarly to Bagan, and traditional weaving industry; blacksmith, silversmith workshops; wonderful floating gardens; (Nge-Phae-Kyaung) Cat-Jumping Monastery and other interesting places.

Lunch at local resort.

Arrival and accommodation at local hotel.

Overnight at Inle.

 

Day 5 – Inle – Heho – Yangon (by Flight)

Breakfast and Hotel check-out.

Morning visit to Inle Lake, the vast picturesque lake, 900 meters above sea-level, a haven for waterfowl and other birds, famous for its unique leg-rowers and scenic beauties.

Tour highlights include: Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda; floating markets; natives’ method of fishing and village life on the lake.

Afternoon sightseeing in the rest of the Pagoda and Monastery and enjoy a relaxing 90 minute sunset Boat at Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 4 – Bagan - Mt. Popa – Mandalay (by Car)

Breakfast and Hotel check out.

Meet the guide at hotel lobby and transfer to Mandalay by land route. It is 295 Km. 6 Hours Drive from Bagan.

On the way visit to Mt. Popa, . it is an extinct volcano and the abode of the powerful spirits known as *Nats* Time to climb the 777 steps to the shrine at the top to enjoy the panoramic view of the area.

Lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch proceed to Mandalay.

Afternoon sightseeing to Mandalay to visit the most venerable Mahamuni Pagoda; Myanmar traditional handicraft workshops: marble works, woodcarvings, gold-leaf making and tapestry works; Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carving; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s biggest book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures and Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for panoramic view of the city.

Tour highlights include: huge unfinished Mingun Pagoda; Sattawya Pagoda with marble foot-print of Buddha; 90 tons Mingun Bell, the largest uncracked ringing bell in the world and Myatheindan Pagoda with seven concentric terraces. Then return to Mandalay, 45 minutes boat trip is a very pleasant way to see the life along the Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 6 – Mandalay – Kalaw – Pindaya – Inle (by car)

Breakfast and Hotel check-out.

Afternoon sightseeing in Kalaw. It is a beautiful hill station surrounded by pine trees and forests. There are many hill tribe villages and people in the surrounding areas including the Palaung and Pa-Oh tribes. These people are well-known for their very beautiful costumes and friendly faces. And then proceed to Pindaya, it is a small quiet town, about 47 kilometers north of Kalaw. Sightseeing to Pindaya Lake (Poktaloke Kan) and Pindaya Cave, also known as “Shwe U Min”. It is home to over 8,000 Buddha images of various size.

After that transfer to Inle, 92 km. 2 hours drive from Pindaya.

Day 7 – Inle – Indein – Inle

Breakfast at Hotel.
